You're going to try to keep track of your films again this year? Even though you totally failed last year, sometime around, oh, say, February? :P

I'm glad you liked The Killing Fields. I hope it at least put Spuddy's Swimming to Cambodia in perspective.

Hope you don't mind, but I followed suit. :) I'm trying to do a "101 Things in 1001 Days" list and I figured this would be a good way to keep track of both books and movies (since I want to do the 50 book challenge this year and want to watch 50 new movies before that 1001 days deadline is up... which shouldn't be hard).

Best of luck!

Since around Easter 2007 I've been keeping a record of all the films I've seen and assigned an x/6 rating to them. It's fun and I like to keep track of my film viewings because that's my main... um... "area". The one thing I do find is that while I'm watching a film now, there's a bit of my brain that concerns itself solely with ranking the film 1-6 and it can be a little intrusive to the actual viewing experience at times. Did you ever find that happening last year with your books and movies?

Not really. I never think about it until the end, unless the movie sucks really bad and then I'm thinking "Damn, I have to put down another one star movie. Grrr!"
